Part 2 of day 10

Our next stop was on a boat to a town called Porto Venere. We walked around and it was a pleasant stroll but hot so we bolted to the ocean to cool off. Now we can add the mediterraneen sea to our checked list of oceans. The coastline here is mostly rocks. Tough on the feet. The beaches where you pay all have sand and umbrellas. We go where the locals go and it's free. Water was refreshing and not cold. Our 3rd stop was Riomaggiore. We started heading towards a castle but it was so crowded, hot, and the town is on a steep cliff. After taking 10 steep stairs, we turned around and bolted again to the beach to cool off.
