Part 3 Day 23

Our 3rd major stop was the Monument of Victor Emmanuel II building, better known as the wedding cake building. It's dedicated to the body of The Unknown Soldier in memory of many soldiers who have died defending their country in war. These places hold a special place in my heart, and I feel the need to visit because there are families out there today who have no idea where their soldier rests. I can't imagine what the family's felt then, and now. This is how I pay my respects.Leia mais
