Part 3 Day 25

We also went and saw the Piazza of Novano. It was a bummer that all 3 fountains were being restored, but we understand that they are old and need some loving. What makes this place really cool is that the Piazza is in an oval shape and back in the day, the Roman's would have their chariot races here. I can picture Charles Heston in Ben Hur on his chariot. Since it was our last night, there were foods I wanted to try before we left. We were able to try 2 out of 3. I'll have to try the maritozzi next time. The suppli was yummy. They were those brown balls filled with rice, mozzarella, and red sauce😋 I shouldn't have waited till the last day to have them because I want more. I also had a yummy pasta dish called Ali Americana with fresh pasta made by Italian ladies next door. We both really like Rome. There is so much to see here that we didn't even touch the surface. I know we'll be back for some more site seeing and for suppli and maritozzi.Read more
