When you get back, try to find some Laotian mysteries by Colin Cotterill, and his fictional hero, Dr. Siri, the only pathologist in Vientiane. Safe travels and take care of each other. Self isolation in our area is not too difficult to do.

The trip was beyond our expectation of joy it brought to our hearts making new friends and having a better understanding of the kind culture that is so embedded in the people of Southeast Asia. So much to learn and take away. We both want to go back and finish our journey. I used the health tracking website you provided daily. Thank you for that. Will pick up Cotterill’s novel on our Kindle. Will have plenty of time in our self imposed isolation upon returning home tonight. We are finally sitting in an empty Seattle airport ready to board back home. I am puzzled that they are not checking temperature upon arrival and departure here. Everywhere airport or tourist attractions in Southeast Asia has a temp checkpoint. Oh! I highly, highly recommend reading Sapiens by Yuval Farrari.
