🇨🇭: Am nögste Tag sind mit witter nach Tengboche. Unterwegs hend mir no ehn z‘mittag stop gmacht wo de Mark no usführlich eh Dehn stund gmacht het😂

Nach paar Stündli sind mir denn au scho in Tengboche (3860m) ah cho.

Ah dem Obet hend mir de Mika und de Gili kenne glernt. Und de Mika het üs denn sehr spannendi Gschichte vom Everest chöner verzehle well er au scho ganz Obe gsi isch. Au mit de locals hend mir üs super unterhalte und isch alles echt spannend gsi. 😊

Am morge sind mir extra am 5ii ufgstande zum die erst Sicht uf de Everest zha.

🇬🇧: the next day we hiked to Tengboche.
On the way we made a short break for lunch, Mark did some stretching exercises. 😂

After some hours we arrived in Tengboche (3860m)

In this evening we meet Mika and Gili. Mika tell us some interesting stories about his climb to the summit of the everest.
We also had nice conversation with some locals. Everything was super interesting what they had to tell.😊

At 5am in the morning we wake up very early to see the first view from the everest.Read more

Day:5 -6 Tengboche- Dingboche

🇨🇭: Vo Tengboche nach Dingboche sind sicher au nomel so 5-6h wandere gsi. Hend üs denn aber mitem Mika, Gili und ihrne Tourguides ahgschlosse und sind so zmol es grösser grüppli worde 😊

Unterwegs hend mir eh kurzi Tee pause gmacht bi de Tourguides dihei, es verhürotets päärli gsi wo das macht :)

In Dingboche hend mir nomel ehn ahklimatisierigs Tag gha well mir scho über 4000m höhi gsi sind.
Hend denn chli glese und eifach entspannt und spöter mit de anderne Charte gspielt wells Wetter sowiso au ned so mitgmacht het😬🌧️

🇬🇧: from Tengboche to Dingboche it ws also a 5-6h hike. We all joined the group from Mika, Gili and their tourguides. 🤗

On the way we make a short break at the home of the tourguides to drink some tea. The tourguides are a married couple, who do this together. :)

In Dingboche we had another acclimatization day, because we went over 4000m.

Day: 7 Dingboche- Lobuche

🇨🇭: wenn am nögste tag ufwachsch und es eifach 1m neuschnee geh het🙃 ❄️ade mercii
Zudem no laufe im Schneesturm, es isch kalt es regnet und schneeit no abwechsligswiis, es het viel Lawine und es Gwitteret.
Ab dem Tag han ich nie meh trockeni Schueh gha…. Für mi persönlich de ahstrengendsti Tag gsi überhaupt!! Viel Gruppe sind deswege au no ehn Tag länger im Dorf bliebe!

Am Obet hani au probiert mini Socke uf nem isspickel am Ofe z‘tröchne…. Het so semi mässig funktioniert… 🥹
Well ich mini Wanderschueh vorem Ofe loh han zum „tröchne“ und mir verusehend mösse in schnee zum zu üsem Zimmer z‘cho, het mich de Mark ufetreit☺️

🇬🇧: when you woke up the next day and it haves 1m new snow 🙃❄️ bye….
We walked that day in a snow storm, it was super cold, rain and snow to the same time. There also were thunder and avalanches what makes it super dangerous!
After that day i never had dry shoes again…
For my personally was it the hardest day from all. Also a lot of groups stayed one day more in the village because of the storm!

In the evening i also tryed to dry my sock on a ice axe… it don‘t that well, but better then nothing. 🥹
And because i let my hiking boots overnight next to the oven and our room was in the other building, Mark give me a ride on his back to the room because i was wearing slippers ☺️Read more

Day:8 Lobuche- Gorak Shep

🇨🇭: Am nögste Tag noch dem Schneesturm hend mir schönste Wetter gha!❄️☀️

Ich bin nochane gfühlt mitem Tshirt witter glofe wells so warm gsi isch…. Bööööse fehler.
Han mich gottlos verbrennt!! Uf dene höhemeter sind mir viel nöcher ade Sunne und mitem Schnee reflektiert das no so stark…. Bin eimol knusprig worde.

Nach witter 5-6h laufe sind mir denn endli in Gorak Shep ah cho. S‘letzte Dorf vorem Base Camp! Nach üsem mittags break hend mir üs entschiede zum det bliebe und ned witter ufe laufe zum base camp. Het sich au glohnt, de Mark het sich uf de weg gmacht, isch aber nach 1h wieder zrugg gsi wells kein Weg meh geh het…. Zu viel Schnee😭😭

🇬🇧: the next day after the snowstorm, its was beautiful weather!❄️☀️

I was continue walking with my shirt, this was probably my biggest failure. I got a really bad sunburn….. on this high altitude its very easy to get burnt, because you are closer to the sun, also with the reflection of the snow.

After 5-6h hiking we finally arrived in Gorak Shep. The last village before the everest base camp! After our short lunch break we decided to stay there and not going to the base camp at the same day. Mark still tried, but he comes back after 1h. There was no chance to reach the EBC, to much snow there was no way😭😭Read more

Day:9 Gorak Shep- Kala Patthar

🇨🇭: am morge am 4ii sind mir aghleit und bereit dunne gstande damit mir zum sunneufgang ufem Kala Patthar sind!

Stockfinster bi -20°C und mit Taschelampe bewaffnet sind mir los. Hend üs würkli de Arsch abgfrore aber es isch es wert gsi! Am morge am 6ii hend mir die View uf de Mount Everest gha! Endli gschafft🥳🥳

Was für ehn Weg was für es Abentüür!! Mir sind so stolz das mir da gschafft hend, zu dritt hend mir es durezoge als Team Everest Warrior💪🏻

🇬🇧: at 4am in the morning, well prepared we started our sunrise hike to Kala Patthar!

In the pitch black night by -20°C and armed with a flashlight we started our climb.
We freezed our ass to death, but it was so worth it. At 6am in the morning we got this amazing view on the Mount Everest. We finally made it🥳🥳

What for a way, what for a adventure!
