Visited the Anzac Centre this morning, so informative and interactive, showcasing stories of so many young brave men and women. They even give you a card on entry as "you're identity" for the visit, you put the card on a scan and it brings up their file from training through to war and if they survived, their life post war. Garry got "Garry Clunie" who survived and went on to marry and have 8 children, I received "Pompey Elliott" who also survived but unfortunately due to the ptsd from war committed suicide 12 years after. Interesting stories that make us feel grateful for their service and our lives today 🙏Leggi altro
