Crossing the Nullabor Day 2

We headed off this morning early as the time difference changes rapidly from 3 hrs behind in WA, to varying times across the Nullarbor, hard to get Garry's head around, 3 different time zones. Still plenty of road trains, with 2 being 8.5 mtrs wide and having to pull completely off the road. We headed out to the Pink Lake at Penong, which was evaporated a fair bit after the hot summer, more like coconut ice colour and saw the huge Gypsum mines. Staying at Penong the night, nice quiet little town, everything is white and dusty from the gypsum, more to come.Meer informatie
