  • Anzac Centre

    March 23 in Australia ⋅ ☁️ 22 °C

Visited the Anzac Centre this morning, so informative and interactive, showcasing stories of so many young brave men and women. They even give you a card on entry as "you're identity" for the visit, you put the card on a scan and it brings up their file from training through to war and if they survived, their life post war. Garry got "Garry Clunie" who survived and went on to marry and have 8 children, I received "Pompey Elliott" who also survived but unfortunately due to the ptsd from war committed suicide 12 years after. Interesting stories that make us feel grateful for their service and our lives today 🙏Read more

Saturday night, we had prawns and rock lobster 🦞. Nothing frozen, all fresh, and well priced 🤩Read more

  • Cape Le Grande - Hellfire Bay

    March 27 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

What a beautiful day 🌞 at Cape le Grande, I have to say I've found my favourite beach I've ever visited - Hellfire Bay. The water is so clear and beautiful, temperature refreshing not cold. We just can't venture too deep due to shark sitings at times. We just sat, enjoyed the water and the breathtaking scenery. A young French backpacker has been enjoying since sunrise, loving his hammock 😍 More pics of our day to come.Read more

  • Ending our travel of South West WA

    March 31 in Australia ⋅ 🌙 19 °C

So we're nearing the end of exploring South West WA, what a beautiful place it is, even down to the rawness of the outback, dust and all. We have met some amazing and awesome inspiring people. On our last two nights at Esperance, we met a lovely mining couple from North of Perth and hit it off straight away, with the last night having a few drinks and laughs before we were ready to head off. A great couple, Wal and Lani, so we have exchanged numbers and hope to catchup in the future with a farm stay at their place when we plan our next WA adventure our when they head to NSW. Heading off over the Nullarbor tomorrow, will be off grid for a couple of days.Read more
