Out early before the rain exploring, this coastline is so rugged, powerful yet beautiful. Visited the Grotto, London Bridge, Schomberg reef and Bay of Martyrs before heading back to do a local walkLue lisää
A quick stop at Port Fairy and Portland today on our way to Mount Gambier, nice to see some blue sky 🌞
Arrived at Mount Gambier and had a couple of hours to get our feel of the place , stopped at The Blue Lake, stunning colour from the limestone, view from the lake and the stone tower. Can't wait toLue lisää
Headed off to Port MacDonnell where they used to ship all the fleece from the sheep, went to the most Southern Point of Australia, rugged, looking over camel rock, although Garry and I thought itLue lisää
Next headed off to Little Blue Lake, 25mtr shallow point, 47mtrs deepest at a constant 12deg all year round, they have stairs and a swimming platform. The valley lake which iscrater of Centenary TowerLue lisää
Umpherston Sink-hole, Wow! Our favourite, so beautiful, you can walk right down and under caves, lots of bees and small wildlife, a little paradise 🤩
One last visit to The Blue Lake, stunning 🤩 off to Lake Albert Meningie tomorrow for one night.
