Home for a Rest

After 187 days on the road we finally made it home to Nova Scotia. The kids were buzzing as soon as we made it across the border! Weston was yelling "Tim Hortons!!!" "Look, it's Canadian Tire!" "Sobey's!" He was more than excited to see all his familiar places. After a quick camper dump in New Brunswick we were home bound. As we made our way through Truro we were noticing all the changes around town. The kids were most excited to see the new roundabout. As we drove up Burnyeat street it felt as if the kids excitement might blow the roof off the truck. As soon as we parked the kids flooded out running towards the house, Weston yelling "Finally, I'm free!!". The Grandparents were there to meet us with open arms and the neighbors there with big smiles to welcome us home.

We made it...we did it! The family adventure and trip of a lifetime was complete without any major hiccups. We were all home safe and sound. As the family grows and new adventures and memories are made this special time will forever remain whole in our hearts 💗 The end.Weiterlesen
