    Had an almost relaxing day after a ride with only 425km. We were in the sauna, had lunch together with our favorite mates and enjoyed a nice sauna including cool bathes in the Moikansuvanto river.

    We visited five or six gift shops and Santa at his village plus we crossed the arctic circle there again. We will “experience” our first sunset again at 11:53 p.m. and sunrise at 2:42 a.m. tomorrow morning.Read more

    A couple of backroads led to a puncture on the Volvo 850 from Simon and Lena so we changed the tire on the roadside and repaired it at our campsite next to a warm camp fire.

    We reached our cozy camp for today, fixed Simons and Lenas tire and met Gulio (he is riding with his motorcycle from Venice counterclockwise around the baltic sea).

    Ulli and I flinged stones like a pro and we completed our road mission of today at the Pulkkilanharju lighthouse just beside.
    Fun fact: the islands in this lake used to be tips of mountains.
    A wonderful spot on the biggest lake in Finnland.Read more

    Today after 621km and a minimum of 200.000l rain we arrived at our camp in the Helsinki area.
    We tried to place Max Volvo on Lego bricks but hadn’t a suitable underground for it.

    Today we will reach the baltic states but the first thing to do was pretending to catch the piss from the bad bad boy (daily task from yesterday) and reach the ferry to Tallinn on time afterwards.

    Today our detour mission took us to an abandoned former Soviet Union submarine base and afterwards to a memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives on the sea area next to the shore of Virve.

    We had soup, beers, traditional Estonian dances performed by locals, buffet and a little treasury hunt.

    The task for today took us to the hill of crosse. Here we needed to build a cross of our own and were ment to leave it on the hill.

    We crossed the polish border, were stopped by very friendly polish border control forces and immediately visited the Polish - Latvian - Russian Broder Tripoint at the northernmost point of the Suwałki-Gap. This is the first border that I visited in my entire life where I had mixed up feelings and saw such a massive amount of NATO-wire.Read more
