We went on the hunt for the Knight templars. A huge forest but no buildings left standing.
Troyes did not disappoint 👏. Amazing Tudor buildings with a cafe culture.

Hmmm! Very busy city. After a long drive it was a bit tricky! Tried to stay but couldn't find anywhere suitable. Found a perfect spot in Taissy 10k outside. Looking forward to a good 😴 💤.

We saw the cathedral from the road and decided to stop for look. So glad we did! A medieval town high up on the only hill.
Inside the Notre Dame de Laon Adagio for strings was playing.

Parked on rue de Foch! This is a memorial statue to the Focher. Great atmosphere 👌. Just before we arrived we saw lots of Commonwealth War Graves. Must have been heavy fighting around the area.

Lovely day exploring. The town hall was magnificent. Opposite was a park with a massive WWll bunker. Loved the statues of the 6 burghers. Citadel, where the English laid seige to the French in 1346.Läs mer
