    Japan day 2 Tokyo

    May 2 in Japan ⋅ 🌧 17 °C

The rain changed our plans for today, with no temples or shrines, unfortunately. But still, we continue!
Nipped out for a quick but yummy breakfast at Cafe Oasis where I had the FATTEST slice of toast I've ever seen! Then we hopped on the bus for shopping in Ginza, we stopped for lunch at Kurozatsubakitei in the Ginza Six mall and ate our body weight in food, I tried Adens sea urchin and it tasted like a tide pool but my Tempura Prawn was the best I've ever eaten. After walking around in the rain and a few more shops, it was time to head back and have dinner.

We went to Ichiniisan Ginza which was a Shabu-Shabu restirant which is a hot pot in which you cook your own meat, vege and noodles then dip in it into a seasoned broth, mum used to make this for us at home as kids with a camp stove after we tried it at the Miyazu restaurant in Nelson. We highly recommend going!

Then we successfully managed the train situation and made it back in one damp piece!
