@Home😉 in Shenzhen

Today we got up late well after Madeleine left for work - the school where she teaches opened today after a 2 week break. Around noon we wandered though this cool neighbourhood down to the Sea World Culture & Art Centre - a marvellous 4 storey visual and performing arts building containing a pile of gallery and auditorium/theatre spaces situated on the Shenzhen waterfront. At SWCAC we were enthralled by POMPEI a fascinating exhibition of new archeological discoveries made there since 2017 when a previously unexcavated area of Pompei was opened to discovery. After a brief look around the rest of the building we had coffee overlooking the sea front enjoying a spot of people watching before heading back to Chez Madeleine. She was home from school and we dined on spicy butternut soup with air fried cauliflower croutons followed by chicken drumsticks for us and vegan lasagne for her.
