SF Arrival Day

Ubered from SFO Airport to the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins, which was our home for the next 3 days. Drove through the transgender district, passing a few homeless on the way. After checking into the hotel early, took a Lyft to Fort Point and the Golden Gate Bridge. It was way too foggy, to the point where we couldn’t even see the bridge while standing under it. It was also cold and very windy. It’s very strange to be in California in July and it to be cold enough to wear a long sleeve Merino wool and an Arc’teryx jacket outside and still be chilly. Also went to the Top of the Mark, which is a glass enclosed bar on the top floor of the Mark Hopkins with great views of the city.Read more
