ПутешественникWe started the day off strong, but things went downhill once we arrived in Frankfurt. The city center was shockingly similar to East Hastings, we found the car rental location only to find out they gave away our rental (which had an automatic transmission). Shocked by the fact that none of us would drive a standard, the clerk told us we were out of luck. We managed to secure a second car with a different agency which so happened to be the largest sedan in the fleet lol it required a two hour wait in the not so beautiful Frankfurt city center for the car to be ready. We finally hit the highway and started to feel a sense of success when the 1.25 hr drive turned into over 3 hrs due to an accident 🙃 HOWEVER, the hotel, restsurant, and town of Kitzingen was the breather of fresh air we had been longing after so much big city exploring.
