Yeppoon to Mackay

Had a 7 day stop over looking around Yeppoon, very nice and good food. Moved out to a farm stay along the way hit a drain and did just a bit of damage then a couple of 100km down the road only to blow another tyre, so at this point 2 new tyres and 1 rim. Now to check next tyre and that has a puncture, end of story 5 new tyre's. We might have to collect cans.
Farm stay was a great to catch up with friends from Pt Vic and a chance to get an animal fix. Pic of the birds is a huge flock of Black Cockatoos - amazing and loud.
Day trip out to Byfield National Park.
Onto Sarina for a couple of nights and have just setup at Mackay Scout club. Exploring will start tomorrow.Read more
