ПутешественникThe food looks amazing!! I'm so confused, though. How does your family start at the same place, end at the same place, but not walk together. Seems like you'd all be on the same path. Guess I'll just have to keep pondering this. 😉
C. WhettenRight, Connie, everyone is on the same path, and they must have agreed on where to meet at the end of the day, but some folks move faster than others at different times of the day.

C. WhettenA month ago this morning, we were watching for our backpacks coming off the plane in Biarritz. You've gone a long ways sense then. You've met a lot of fun people and probably a few that are not so nice. You've had a lot of great experiences and a few that were not so fun, like watching your hiking pole drop into the river. This region is known for it's delicious octopus (pulpo). It is lightly boiled, then seasoned and grilled, and was indeed very tasty. We had quite a feast!

Been seeing many of these the past week. Horreos were/are used for storing harvested crops and grains. Many of them have looked unused, but there have been a couple that appear to be storing corn.
