Been seeing many of these the past week. Horreos were/are used for storing harvested crops and grains. Many of them have looked unused, but there have been a couple that appear to be storing corn.

20.5 miles, my longest day! Whew. More beautiful scenery and critters. Tomorrow we're scheduled to reach our destination, Santiago. Can't believe it's gone so quickly.

This region is known for it's delicious octopus (pulpo). It is lightly boiled, then seasoned and grilled, and was indeed very tasty. We had quite a feast!
