Slums of Mumbai

Our day finished with a tour of Dharavi - the largest slum in Mumbai. Our tour had to be led by a local resident and was the most unbelievable experience we have had so far. He showed us the underbelly of the industrial workings of plastic recycling and repurposing, textile creation, leather making and was so proud to show us the beauty of his world.Read more
