After our boat tour, we explored the narrow streets of Varanasi. Apparently, the Ganges flooded very recently (1 month ago) - 50 feet above the shoreline and caused considerable damage. It is still about 15 feet higher than normal so what is normally steps is now covered in mud or still underwater.Read more
