Day 47 Isla Tintipan to Cartagena

Big thunderstorms overnight and a rainy morning. Breakfast and chat with a lovely Argentinian couple who patiently tolerate the snail pace Spanish convos! then smooth boat back to Cartagena. Splurged on a super swanky hotel for last night in Cartagena - it's stunning (and no 💩 anywhere in sight!😅) Relaxed on the rooftop for the afternoon, and sunset at the city walls. By some great luck with timing, its Cartagena's 100th 'birthday' today - which meant celebrations all over the city! Fireworks and live music - perfect last night :)Read more
