    Day 47 Isla Tintipan to Cartagena

    Big thunderstorms overnight and a rainy morning. Breakfast and chat with a lovely Argentinian couple who patiently tolerate the snail pace Spanish convos! then smooth boat back to Cartagena. Splurged on a super swanky hotel for last night in Cartagena - it's stunning (and no 💩 anywhere in sight!😅) Relaxed on the rooftop for the afternoon, and sunset at the city walls. By some great luck with timing, its Cartagena's 100th 'birthday' today - which meant celebrations all over the city! Fireworks and live music - perfect last night :)Читать далее

    Day 48 Cartagena

    Last day! Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the hustle and bustle of the streets below. Fully maxed out on the luxury and spent the morning on the rooftop reading. Then a stroll around the streets to find a hilarious guy called Snider who I'd met before when I wanted to buy a present from him. Quick pit stop at my favourite bookstore joint for coffee and a last limonada de Coco. Managed to bob in the gold museum too, super interesting history and lots of beautiful videos of the Filigrianas in Mompox. Then off to the airport to head Bogota side to start the journey home :) what a trip! ❤️☀️❤️Читать далее
