First day in Toronto. We took a bike and cycled around the city. Saw all the major touristic hotspots and drank beers at the Amsterdam brewery. In the evening we went to the cinema and saw Hobbs&Shaw.

Second day in Toronto, we took the bike and cycled to the west side of the city for half an hour. Saw some beaches and went to another brewery. After that we went to a walmart and to Kensington market. We strolled around a bit and went to see china town. Ate some awesome dumplings and sat in a park.

Another day. Another bike ride. This time we went to the east. We went to Riverdale park and got to see the beautiful skyline of Toronto. We than visitied distillery District and drank some ciders and beers there. We than went to Eaton center and shopped for a bit before the Bluejays game begun that we would attend. Our roadtrip began with first getting our car in Toronto. We than drove to our first destination, Huntsville. We had some lunch on the docks with a beautiful view on water. After the lunch we drove to our sleeping place near Barry's bay. We first bought some groceries for our dinner and breakfast. At the lodge we stayed there is a cookout where we could make our own meals. We relaxed a little and went to sleep.En savoir plus

Waking up with a nice view over the forest was really nice after being used to the city of Toronto. We made breakfast and planned to go to a beautiful spot near the lodge. Here was a lil bit of nature but we could not see a lot since it was closed.. we got back to the grocery store for tonights dinner and got back to the lodge where we enjoyed the peace and quiet of their own little lake. We used their canoes and sat on the waterside untill it was dinner time. It got cold fast so we went inside after and enjoyed the wifi.En savoir plus

From Ottawa to Montreal took some time because the traffic was killing. But when we got there, it was amazing. We are located near the gay village with the apartment. Strolling through this long street into the city. On our way back we ate some burritos and marveled at the beautiful rainbow coloured street. Drove from Montreal to Trois Rivieres. A point where apparently three rivers come together, though it wasn't clear to figure that out. We had some lunch there, awesome hotdogs and went on again.

Our final destination of the day, Quebec. The house we stay in is an old Victorian house. It is so cute. There are several spacious rooms and shared bathrooms, kitchen and living room. The host was nice and got us some passes for the ferry we could use to go to Quebec, since we are staying on the other side of the river, Levis.
Quebec is such a weird city. It is supposed to be old but everything looks fake old, like in a play. Though it was nice to walk around for a bit but we were done fast. Had some simple meal before going back to the house.En savoir plus

When we crossed the border we saw some information boards next to the road and apparently just 20 meters further there was a little waterfall. We than got some food at a restaurant next to the road, it was so much!!! (Already ate most on the picture). We are staying on a camping where we leave early next morning to go rafting!!
Went to eat dinner in a very American restaurant. They had bears and deers and mooses on the wall of all the kills people had made. Met some nice people there and had some real nice pizza.En savoir plus

Got woken up early today because we got to go rafting which starts at 9am. We got instructions and our gear and drove with an old school bus to the starting place. We sat in a boat with 10 people total, an instructor, us four and another family of five that was really nice. I was scared for life but did enjoy it a little eventually. We did a short trail and got off the boat earlier than the others. We than got to our car and drove to the coast of Maine. I sat in front because yay car sickness. Eventually we arrived in Belfast where we were welcomed warmly by our airbnb hosts. They recommended us some place to eat lobster so we go there. The food was amazing, even the grilled swordfish. We walked around the town for a bit and got back to the house. We talked a bit with the hosts and ended up having a fire in their yard and talked all nightEn savoir plus

Our host from the airbnb we stayed in got us some nice pastries we could eat for breakfast, so nice of her!!! We took the pastries in the car and drove up to Camden. A little city, still on the coast of Maine. We sat in the harbour and ate the pastries. It was all foggy and it was gorgeous to see. Got some souvenirs and went on with our drive to Freeport. An outlet center. We shopped around for a bit and than drove further to Portland. That city is just so beautiful and nice. The atmosphere is so good and safe. Had such a good time walking around there. We drank something at a bar and went on with our walk to a new bar where we also had some nachos that we shared for dinner since we are all stuffed from our hamburgers that afternoon.En savoir plus

Our day started with some breakfast in Portland. I had some delicious french toast. After that we got into the car to drive to Cape Ann, where we went on a boat to watch whales. The boatrip took 4 hours. We saw so many whales and even some coming out of the water with their mouths. After the whale watching we got to our address near Boston. We ate some dinner in Revere. It was chinese take out, it was really good. We had a view over the beach and a beautiful sunset sky.En savoir plus

Today we visited Boston. In the morning we got an uber from our address to get to the start of the freedom trail, a trail with a red line through the city that shows several important places of the American history. This is a great way to explore the city. We had lunch in a food market hall which was so pretty and fun and nice. We walked a bit through the harbour and ended up in a park with fountains where kids were playing with the water. We were tired and got home with an uber again. Leaving the airbnb in Boston to drive to Cape Cod bay. Where we would stay in a motel kind of stay. The motel was part of a more luxurious hotel and we got to use their facilities like the pool and gym. At the motel we basically got our luggage in the room and decided to go to Provincetown, at the furthest end of Cape Cod. In Provincetown there was a carnival and it was also LGBT related. The theme was enchanted forest so we saw a lot of people dressed up even though it was very warm. Saw the parade and got back to the motel again where we enjoyed the pool, since it was my fathers birthday he chose where to eat and it was an amazing mexican place, it was delicious.En savoir plus

The Great New York State Fair

Today we would go to the New York State fair. I did not know what to expect, but it was huge. The terrain was so big, and there was so much to do and see. We have done some games with the American Army, went into buildings with cows for show and also chickens and ducks and another building with goats and llamas. So much to see. There is a fair to of course. Loads of food stand with a lot of American foods, like fried oreos. The fair even had a little zoo with giraffes and zebras. There were animal shows too, with bears and wolves and dogs. We started at 11 and were really tired around 5 so we went home. Relaxed a bit and got some food from Walmart for dinner (very spicy instant ramen).En savoir plus

Left our small place in Syracuse for breakfast at macdonalds. After the food we drove to another outlet mall where i got some new jeans. When everyone was done looking we got in the car and drove to the Niagara falls. Crossed the border from USA to Canada since the falls are prettier on that side. Our hotel was on walking distance from the falls and it was amazing. We first did the 'behind the falls'. We stood on a lower viewing deck and could also walk in a tunnel with some open points behind the falls. After that we walked along the falls boulevard to the decks of the Hornblower. This is a boat we took into the horseshoe falls. Amazing.
We went back to the hotel to swim and got back in the evening again for the falls with light and the fireworks, those were pretty disappointing. But the lights were pretty though.En savoir plus
