    15 de febrero de 2024, Escocia ⋅ ☁️ 11 °C

What a beautiful place this is, full of culture, craic and comedy. Staying at the largest hostel we have ever stayed in with over 300 guest beds!!

We were lucky enough to catch up with some friends from home and see an afl game, also link up with friends from past travels. We successfully completed Friday nights pub crawl and found a night club with a ball pit. There was also a waltie on our walking tour which was a SLAY. Next stop Inverness 🤝🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Leer más

    19 de febrero de 2024, Escocia ⋅ ☁️ 10 °C

A day trip to Glasgow from Edinburgh before heading to Inverness. We enjoyed a walking tour which was easily the best one I have done. I had a horrible endo flare up this day but willow was the biggest support and hype man. We eventually made it to a park where we saw the highland COOS for the first time 😭😭😭🥹🥰❤️ I was so fucking excited. They are so cute. Fun fact: female highland cows horns go up and males go down 🐮🥹 we found shelter in a museum from the rain and I obviously spent the whole time in the animal section ❤️Leer más

We saw some truley magnificent sights, drank “fairy enchanted water” that is said to make you live forever and if you dunked your face in the water you would stay the way you look forever. You best bet we dunked our head in it 😂🤝🏼🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🐮 we saw some more beautiful highland cows that I honestly fell inlove with, explored a castle and saw many waterfalls. • MARRAKECH 🇲🇦

    27 de febrero de 2024, Marruecos ⋅ ⛅ 17 °C

Four days in Marrakech, I don’t even know where to start with this place. The vibes are hectic, so many people, the medina is CRAZY, the snake charmers are so scary, mildly overwhelming but beautiful at the same time. We discovered a mixed sandwich place deep in the medina where we can get dinner, we could have lentils, bread and a sandwhich for $6aud for two of us, talk about a bargain!!

I haggled a beautiful pashmina scarf and some beautiful jewellery and perfume. The hostel was a vibe and we spent quite a while playing uno with some American and Irish gals who were doing a French exchange.

  • FES 🇲🇦🚶🏽‍♀️

    2 de marzo de 2024, Marruecos ⋅ ☀️ 18 °C

A genuine adult maze, it was low-key scary trying to navigate this city. The medina was immense and Sortve overwhelming and deffintily more sketchy then Marrakech. We did a walking tour and tried some reccomend street food, we also discovered that if you order chicken from the butcher they genuinely slaughter the chicken there and then. 😭
We stayed in a lovely riad and had our own private room which was so nice 🫶🏼 we learnt about the tanneries and how they make leather, we also were taught a lot about natural medicine and herbs and how prominent they are in the Moroccan traditions and life style.

    4 de marzo de 2024, Marruecos ⋅ ☁️ 15 °C

Got a bus from Fes to Chefchauen, we had the joy of taking the luxury coach which was elite! We had legs rests and massive seats, what a delight. Our time in the blue city was enjoyable, beautiful and riddle with the shits thanks to some dodgy food/water. Luckily we were able to hit up the local pharmacy for some anti poo tablets 😂. We both got to go out for dinner individually and made some friends who we went hiking/walking through water with! So greatful we got to meet Luna and Anna 🫶🏼 also fun fact that chefchauen is the weed capital of MoroccoLeer más

  • ESSAOUIRA

    7 de marzo de 2024, Marruecos ⋅ ☁️ 19 °C

Welcome to the Moroccan coast!! What a time to be alive. Our hearts were full experiencing this, finally after so long being back at the beach! We were so keen to start surfing, be out of a big city and to just chill the feck out. This place has it all, the hostel breakfast was immense, the seafood 🦞 the live music and the medinas. Truley a beautiful place. I got to experience a hammam for the first time with my Norwegian friend juliet, thank god she spoke French as well because otherwise we would’ve been screwed 🤣 the food here was so good, and so cheap. This hostel is where we met so many travellers and remained friends with them throughout the rest of our travels in Morocco. (Logan, Michael, Juliette, Kat, anna and Luna)Leer más

  • TAGHAZOUT BABY 🏄‍♀️🌊🤙🏽🇲🇦

    10 de marzo de 2024, Marruecos ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

Wow, this is genuinly equivalent to australias byron bay/ torquay. We arrived in surf paradise and braced our body’s to get absolutely battered by waves for the next week and a bit. We met up with our friends from the last hostel, headed to the beach, hired a wetsuit and surf board for the day which cost €6 each (bargain) and got right too it. This was the most hidden gem of Morocco, everything was cheap, chilled, such a small town, you couldn’t walk more then 200m without seeing someone you knew, we never wanted to leave. Other then the horrific food poisoning I was unlucky enough to have for 2 days we had a blast. We would go to the skate park at night for the sunset, smoke some ganja and then head down to our favourite blue table cloth resturant and devour all we could. Tajines, lentils, beans, Moroccan soup, bread and Diet Coke was the diet for the time we were here. Absolute bliss. We also managed to greatly improve our surfing ability.Leer más

  • AGADIR

    18 de marzo de 2024, Marruecos ⋅ ☁️ 30 °C

Quick stop over waiting for our bus to Marrakesh, we were exhausted, had sore backs from carrying our bags and were in a shitty mood because shock horror we both forgot to download the maps so we had no fkn idea where to go. We caught a joint taxi from Taghazout to Agadir with 3 random blokes who were also waiting for the bus with us. Turns out one of them was from England and he was a body builder and a legend✨ he was telling us all about his trips using DMT to visit his dead wife and how we should try every drug except heroin because we don’t know what we’re missing out on. He was so much of a legend that he paid for our taxi ride for us and the two other Germans. What a king. We had dinner at some random restaurant in Agadir, it was good, we spoke to a polish bloke who was the only other guy in the restaurant, and then we headed for the bus station to go to Marrakesh.Leer más

I got to teach some others how to order in Italian, “vorrei uno margherita pizza per favore”. Will took me to the resturant he had been ranting and raving about for years, it deffintily lived up to the hype.Leer más

  • HURGHADA 🐠🐡🇪🇬

    24 de marzo de 2024, Egipto ⋅ 🌬 23 °C

Finally we arrived in Egypt our second last country before we headed home. We got a very very late flight/ long journey and we’re both absolutely exhausted. We got fucked over and scammed by a local taxi/ Uber driver and spent ages trying to get our visa on arrival once we landed in Egypt. All that aside we had the best time in this beautiful sea side town. We spent our days snorkelling, diving for the first time, swimming and trying local foods. The cuisine here was insane. We went on two seperate full day trips to different islands, saw dolphins heaps of sea life and turtles and swam our little hearts out.Leer más

In luxor we were harrasssed by men driving horse and carriages, kids begging for money, and homeless people all within the first 30mins.

We had some of the best food ever here, falafel sandwiches and I even tried camel steak for the first time.

Went on a feluca on the Nile river and met our captain Omar who was an absolute legend. We liked it so much we went again.

We went to the valley of the kings and saw all the temples and tombs etc. after leaving Luxor we got a 1st class train to Aswan which was LIT! We legit felt like kings and queens.

    30 de marzo de 2024, Egipto ⋅ ☀️ 34 °C

Arrived in Aswan and had to walk to our hostel for 50mins in the 38° heat with all our bags. ANGRY reacts. We went canooing on the Nile, got up super early to go to Abu Simbal a huge pharaoh tomb 4 hours away from our hostel. I was fuming because will ate all the chips on the ride home. I spent the next day sun baking next to the Nile and befriended a bunch of people from the hostel, we watched the sunset go down and got a bit blazed, then we all went out for dinner to a restaurant called ABeer and had the most unreal feed ever. The things I would do to go back there is silly. After dinner CK tried shisha for the first time with a girl from Kazakistan, this started my nicotine addiction 😅🤝🏼 The next day we went to the Nubian village, this town is known for the little blue buildings, let crocodiles and very friendly people. After our adventure we got a 15hr overnight bus ride to Cairo.Leer más

A place of absolute organised chaos. Traffic goes in every direction, the beeping doesn’t stop, ever. We discovered the massive market in Cairo called Khan el Khalili. Got so lost. Found our way and had amazing fruit juice and bought some beautiful Egyptian art work. The next day we headed to the Pyramids, I can not even begin to Fathom how huge these are. There is a photo of wills standing next to the bottom of the pyramid and it is HUGE. we had a dodgy taxi diver home from the pyramids, sat at a resturant and watched the traffic and enjoyed some bangin food.Leer más

We arrived in Jordan with our visas and no hassle. Picked up our hire car and headed to Petra. Spent the next day inhaling the buffet breakfast and then set out to hike Petra. It was a lovely 36° at 10am so we got up super early to try beat the heat. The sights at Petra were out of this world. The monestry the view point and the friendly locals who still live there. An absolutely amazing day to tick off another wonder of the world. The next day we headed to wadi rum and stayed in the desert 🐪 🏜️ we were welcomed with hot tea and were cooked the most amazing buffet dinner, it was cooked in the ground in the sand, crazy. The next day we had to race to the airport to get Alex there for his flight, then will and I headed to Aquaba. I went snorkelling and saw so much sea life! After this we headed to the Dead Sea which was such a surreal experience especially being just across the pond from Israel. The fact you can’t sink is crazy! We had a mud bath and floated in the water for 10 mins and then went and had showers, the water burned our skin but it was so good for wills excma. After this we headed towards the airport but stopped off at some hidden hotsprings on the way where two Jordanian lads showed us a natural sauna and spa pool and gave us apple juice.
