    From mid 17th century, these were homes of the homesteaders given rights to land if they farm as a way to stave off famine and revolution. No mortar. Just flat limestone lying around. I'll tell ya, they didn't even get started! That fertile area that yields so much seems to be nothing BUT limestone!Read more
