A bit of a washout today

So I’d planned to take a train through the mountain so as to avoid further climbing today. All was good and I set off walking. However the weather clearly didn’t get the memo because that light stick to you sort of rain started and did not stop. I admitted defeat and diverted to the nearest train where I hopped on to my destination. Once here I thought I’d brave some rain for a wander. Well it’s deserted all the shops and restaurants look like people just upped and left. I found a supermarket open and the guy said it gets busy in the summer. I’m not convinced! My hotel has a buffet dinner for 15 euro including drinks so that’s me for the night.
