We got up about 7:15 AM and had a nice casual breakfast in our hotel room. Getting on the road at 8:15 AM we were heading east shooting for a 60 mile day with heat warnings.
We are safe in the A/C at a BUDGET Inn In Midway, Missouri. A bridge out on the trail gave us a cruel detour on to a busy highway with no shoulder and no shade! Thanks a lot Missouri! As we struggledEn savoir plus

Beautiful riding through Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area as we rode with the Missouri River on our right. The tall bluffs shaded us from the morning sun and kept our bodies a bit cooler. Being closerEn savoir plus
