The night before took a bit to shake off, but we got going towards Roppongi Hills late morning. The upscale mall/residential/museum area has this wavy concrete exterior; so many sections of Tokyo have amazing architecture. Inside we had a quick bite to eat (had to "Sumimasen" multiple times to avoid missing our ticket entry), and then headed to Teamlabs Borderless. The exhibit is sponsored by Epson, which seems odd, but it's all projector based video art. Borderless is interesting in that their aren't maps or directions, you kinda just wander. And the different art wanders with you; a procession of frogs will hop past the flower-bears you saw in the other room while the interactive schools of fish dodge your shadow. It's an amazing exhibit, and has so many creative exhibits. Many are hard to describe as they're optical based; you don't quite get the effect with recording.Read more
