Despite dire predictions by the media and our Councils, Cyclone Jason was no more than a 'fart in a teacup'. Consequently our flight from the GC was only an hour late. It was windy and rainy in Cairns but no more than a normal rainy day in the tropics. We arrived back in MB the following day in time to put our house sitters on their bus. Our poor garden looked a bit wet and bedraggled but after a couple of hours we managed to tidy up the palm fronds and fallen branches.
