No visit to Athens would be complete without a visit to the National Archeological Museum. There are some truly amazing ancient artifacts on display.
Not everything in Athens is about ancient civilizations. We also visited the National Gallery which houses art from the early 19th century to the present day. The art of the 20th century particularly caught my eye.

Finally, to complete the picture, we visited the Byzantine and Christian Museum covering the 1,100 or so years until the Ottoman Empire conquered Greece.Read more
