Day one

Arrived in Bali around lunchtime and took a quick taxi straight to our gorgeous resort in Nusa Dua. We cant help but see echoes of Cambodia but are trying not to do the constant comparison thing. Our hotel is a bit swanky and I'm feeling really privileged to be here. Even though it was built back in the late 80s, the architecture has stood the test of time. I'm enjoying its gardens and pools, and it's situated right on the beach. We enjoyed a restful afternoon by the pool, followed by a lush dinner out. Now it's early to bed.
