Day 2

Today, we started the day with breakfast at the à la carte restaurant. Afterward, we headed to the most beautiful beach we’ve seen so far. The boys spent hours body surfing the waves , making sandcastles, playing with the ball, and soaking up the sun.

Addy and Simon went to the surf shop to book lessons for tomorrow.

Later, we returned to the resort for a late lunch. I think the kids had at least five servings of ice cream, along with cake, pizza, and buttered noodles.

After lunch, we made our way to the pool for drinks and a bit of relaxation before heading to dinner.

For dinner, we went to a specialty restaurant where we shared many laughs—so much so that Simon ended up crying from laughing so hard.

To end the night, the kids and I played cards while Simon struck up a conversation with an older gentleman. They swapped life stories for about two hours.Read more
