    Etretat

    Today we headed to the picturesque small seaside town in the north of France, Etretat. It is famous for its cliff formations and pebble beach. There are plenty of pretty restaurants and shops but the main reason to visit is the amazing view. The view was exceptional.

    German bunkers are dotted along the foreshore, as it was once a strategic location for the German defensive line.

    There are signs all along the promenade warning people to refrain from picking up the pebbles. Riya and I couldn’t help ourselves!

    We took one for the team and sampled some gorgeous pasties from the local Boulangerie. They did not disappoint.
