Sunshine and Oysters - Life is good!

We could live in Saint Malo.

It has lots of beautiful independently run shops and a Boulanger on every corner.

The market is well used by the locals and offers really fresh, well priced food.

There is a walled old town, perfect to keep the tourists amused, while us “locals” enjoy the very liveable non-touristy areas.

But, the main reason to live in Saint Malo is its proximity to Cancale. Cancale is known for its oyster farm where the oysters are sold direct from the farm along with a pairing of wine. It’s heaven in a shell!!Read more
