    Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve reveals a lush garden of mosses, ferns, flowers and epiphytes growing thickly on every tree. Clouds drift in and settle among the slopes, providing the plants with the continuous moisture that they require. Dangling roots and vines sweep across the trails, while the sounds of birds and other creatures echo throughout the forest.
    Insects, reptiles, amphibians, mammals and birds like three-wattled bellbird, bare-necked umbrellabird, keel-billed toucan, long-tailed manakin and resplendent quetzal. live here. White-faced and howler monkeys reside here, as do jaguars, agouti, and the three-toed sloth.

  • Volcano Arenal

    Hiking at the Parque Nacional Volcan Arenal and peninsula of lake Arenal.
    The activity at Arenal has been limited to puffs of steam and a few deep rumbles. The peak is an imposing and beautiful sight.
    From the ranger station at the park entrance I hiked the hiking trails that lead to a mirador, a look-out point and Las Coladas trail from the mirador to the southern most lava flows.
    Los Miradors trail at the peninsula leads through forested areas to the shore of lake Arenal.

    Tortuguero is famous for the nesting leather back sea turtles.
    The village is situated on a sand bar island, separated from the mainland by Tortuguero River and bordering the Caribbean Sea. Tortuguero is renowned for its navigable canals that run through the rainforest in the national park, and has such earned the nickname of 'Central America's Amazon'.
    Tortuguero can only be reached by boat or plane.

    Lima free walking tour at Miraflores and centro historico, which is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
    The Historic Centre of Lima bears witness to the architecture and urban development of a Spanish colonial town of great political, economic and cultural importance in Latin America. It represents an outstanding expression of a regional cultural process, which preserves its architectural, technological, typological, aesthetic, historic and urban values adapted in terms of availability of materials, climate, earthquakes and the requirements of society. San Francisco de Lima is an outstanding example of a convent ensemble of the colonial periods in Latin America and is one of the most complete.
    The balconies that were built in the viceroyalty era. The principal monuments are Archbishop Place, House of Aliaga, Goverments Place, Basilica Cathedral, Basílica of our Lady of the Rosary, Convent of Santo Domingo, Plaza de San Martin.

    Traditional peruvian dish: Ceviche!
    Raw fish marinated and cooked with lime juice. Served with sweet potato, sweet corn, roasted corn, fried calamaries and cilantro.

    On Top of Pukamuka the statue of Cristo Blanco is overlooking the city of Cusco. It was built by a group of Christian Palestinians who had sought refuge in Cusco and was their parting gift to the city when they left – also a symbol of their gratitude.     Inca ruins of Moray lies in the Sacred Valley.
    This archaeological site on a high plateau at about 3,500 metres. The inca ruins consisting of several terraced circular depressions and also has an irrigation system.
