The back of the house was used as the duke of Sandringhams stately Home whilst the front of the house was used as Ellesmere Manor. The Red Drawing Room was used in filming along with the living room which featured Helwater. The bedrooms upstairs were also used in filming including Jamie and Claires guest room in Paris and where Mary Hawkins recovers after her rape ordeal.

The courtyard areas were also used in various scenes as Paris streets also where Mary Hawkins is raped, the stables also were used as Helwater stables and the courtyard was used as the entrance to the Paris brothel.
