ПутешественникBruce, make sure you visit the church. Put a euro in the slot to turn on the lights. The retablo is the most amazing Baroque you will ever see. Plus the “sports bar” next to the church is actually the Casa de Comidas and has the most fabulous food. Dishes on the bar - all freshly made and you choose the size of the portions you want.

ПутешественникGood idea Bruce. I love the meseta but there are long sections without villages. Buses only in some. Know the villages that are transport links, watch out for ones that are not. Sending hugs.pS if it rains muds can make the walk feel twice as long; it sucks your feet down and requires effort to pull them up!

ПутешественникBrucee has a way of over doing things and it took a moment or more before my legs supported me. Next morning my legs were good and I continued on the Camino Frances 🤗

Not a big distance walk today. It had 2 hills and took 20,162 Steps. Arrived at accommodation early, they let me in and offered a free Americano coffee. Great room and bathroom. Love it.
