Venice by day

This morning we took the bus back to Venice over the liberty bridge to the boat and back to St Marks square, there were thousands of tourists, last night wasn’t as crowded, we went to a Murano glass blowing place it was incredible watching him make a glass horse.
I bought some Murano bracelets for Christmas gifts, we looked at all the other amazing pieces I like a glass aquarium but it was over two thousand euros!!!
We wandered around it was hot so we bought a cherry gelato and sat in a small park and ate it the seagulls are huge and they were trying to share our gelato we also had a refreshing limoncello spritzer .
In the afternoon we took a boat to one of the 118 islands that make up Venice called Burano a 50 minute boat ride from st marks square, it’s a lot less crowded and very colourful houses we were very hot so bought some water and tried the cannoli I also bought some beautiful linen scarves.Read more
