The valleys into Innsbruck

Crossing the border into Austria didn’t seem real after travelling the last 200 kms. The views of the valleys and ice capped mountains just didn’t stop.

Made our way to our accommodation in Lans just outside Innsbruck before heading to dinner. We ate at Issewirt "Zur Traube" in Lans. A beautiful, classic Austrian hotel with beautiful, classic views of the Nordkette.

The wooden ceilings, the smell of the kitchen and classic table service, a classic schnitzel, grilled bass, pilsner and wine along with dessert just capped the day off perfectly.Read more
