Gorgeous National Park campground! Lots of critters to help us fall asleep. No bear sighting unfortunately though there are signs everywhere.

Today we arrive at the Sherando Lake Recreation Area located within the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest. Right away we could tell this was a nice place. HUGE campsite with electric, aLes mer
Kids LOVED this lake and deemed it just what they needed. Older kids swam out to the island and we attempted Marco Polo.
What could be better?!? Using our new grill and the inside burners to create the perfect meal. Also, we tried out the “Awesome Sauce” purchased in Shenandoah and yes, it’s AWESOME!
