March 27/Day 3 Brisbane Gold Coast

Today we arrived at the port of Brisbane. We took an excursion to spend the day at the Gold Coast and visit the main tourist attraction of a 70 km beach! The weather was not so sunny but that did not stop me from taking a dip into the Pacific Ocean . It certainly was a rough swim and could not go too far but the water was warm! This was the site of the 2018 commonwealth games and the “blue Koala “ was their mascot, the olympics are coming here in 2032! We caught our bus driver for a picture!
