CARINDA

Travelling with Sue and Roddy to Carinda. Beautiful day. Stopped at Condobolin for morning tea and travelled on to Warren for lunch.
We then moved on to a dirt road, through Quambone to Carinda and had a pub dinner. We saw emus, lizards, kangaroos and geese on the way. Carinda's claim to fame occurred in 1983 when David Bowie came to town and made a film clip of the song 'Let's Dance'. Now the town has very few people, only 10 children in the local school.
