    Port Hedland to Newman

    August 29 in Australia ⋅ 🌬 20 °C

Newman is essentially a mining town, built in 1966 & population of about 6,000 . Lots of ore trucks on the road, mainly quads ( 4 trailers) & tripples. The country & rocks are all very red.

Travelerthat’s what struck me most when i flew from Perth to Broome - the red sand and rocks. Would hate to do whites - washing in this area 😂
