Benalla

Camped beside Broken River at Casey Weir free camp. Stopped for coffee at Bonnie Doon, a very small town that had to be moved because Lake Eildon got bigger. Drove into Benalla to look around and purchase some more thongs for Bruce as Mega takes delight in chewing the pluggers off, 3 pairs in 10 days. Lots of murals in Benalla and the Botanical gardens had some lovely rose gardens and a lovely walk along the banks of Lake Benalla. Glenrowan and Wangaratta were on the agenda today. Glenrowan is all about Ned Kelly and the tourist but done very well, and it was a lovely little town. Wangaratta was a typical city but with some lovely historical churches and buildings.En savoir plus
