Goolwa and Victor Harbour

Did a day trip to Goolwa and Victor Harbour from Murray Bridge, probably the highlight of the trip so far. The day included a look round Tailem Bend, a ferry ride across the Murray at Wellington and coffee at Milang. We had a quick look around Goolwa and saw the mouth of the Murray River where it flowed into Lake Alexandrina and then into the ocean. As we had followed the Murray for so long, it was nice to see it to the end.
On the advice of the tourist information centre we went to the barrage to hopefully see seals. We saw seals! It was amazing to see these animals in their natural habitat swimming or lazing about. We then went for a walk along the beautiful Goolwa beach with the boys. This was all followed by a quick visit to Victor Harbour, not enough time spent here, on the list for another visit.もっと詳しく
