Staying at the Recreation grounds in Blythe. Blythe is a small town with a cinema and Escape Rooms and not a lot else, but very neat and the camp grounds were fabulous. We were only 20 mins from Clare Valley and lots of 🍷. We visited 2 wineries, 1 in Clare called Mad Bastards and 1 in Watervale called Crabtree Wines. A look around Clare township was interesting as was the Food and Wine and Information Centre. From our camp in Blyth, we did a day trip to Burra, about 40 mins away. It was well worth the trip. History is oozing out of Burra. Burra is National Hertiage town, and they have applied for World Heritage status. The buildings have been preserved and used as they had for the last 150 years. The town has a number of antique stores and thrives around its history. There is also an old copper mine that has been, you can see a lot of the old structures still there.Baca lagi
