Monkey Mia

We are staying in Denham but drove the 25kms to Monkey Mia twice. On Saturday afternoon, we drove out to get a feel for the place and see what we had to do for the dolphin experience the next morning. When we arrived, the dolphins were happily playing near the shore with people on paddle boats. There were emus walking through the complex and pelicans on the beach. There was a great feel to the place. On Sunday morning, we went back for the dolphin experience. We had 4 dolphins, green sea turtles, and a loggerhead turtle come in for viewing and our entertainment. The dolphins were pros at getting attention, and after a feed of fish, they moved off the beach. We had a lovely breakfast in the cafe there with the boys grabbing treats under the table. After breakfast, we were able to take our kayaks and the boys in their life jackets kayaking around the area. Bruce had a dolphin come right up to the boat to say hello. It was a beautiful day and a great experience. Monkey Mia was one of the most dog friendly places we have been to.Читать далее
