Sandy Cape/Jurian Bay

It started as a perfect day driving from Coronation Beach to Sandy Cape via Port Denison. We managed a lovely stop off in Port Denison and bought some fresh prawns for dinner🦐. As soon as we arrived, the rain and wind started, and we had to set up in the breaks between the rain bursts. The wind was persistent and about 50kms an hour, so we spent most of the day in the caravan. We did manage a walk on the beach with the boys in the afternoon.
Day 2, we went into Jurian Bay about 20 km away. We were a bit disappointed with Jurian Bay, though there was a nice walk along the foreshore there was nothing else. Unless you are going on a boat to see the sea lions🦭 there is nothing to do there. Day 3 saw us exploring Green Head and Leeman. Green Head had an amazing walk along the foreshore with lookouts across 3 different bays. Leeman again they have made the most of their foreshore and there are a couple of large rocks/small islands just off the beach ⛱️ that make it interesting. Alas, no sealions.Read more
