Albany

From our camp on the Cosy Coast, we did a day trip to Albany. What a stunning city. We were really impressed with the old architecture and the paved streets. We visited the Port, where sand and sawdust were being loaded. I am currently reading a Bryce Courtney book ,Solomon's Song, where Ben boards a ship at Albany port during World War 1, so it was interesting to see it. We also had a quick look at the Whaling Museum at Fletcher Bay, we didn't go in but saw the Whaling boat and took some photos of the bay which was stunning.Read more
